NEW STAGING AREA

 

“Pedals vs Pistons” USFS Trail Day

September 5th ‘ 2009

New Staging area.

Starting at 8:00AM, there will be a “gathering” at Snowbowl Road and FS Road 522 (Friedlien Prarie Road) for those who may have very low clearance vehicles (”normal” cars will be okay).

Take Highway 180 north to Milepost 222.99 (MP 223 is immediately after Snowbowl Road) and turn right on Snowbowl Road.

Go 2.3 miles to FS Road 522…. turn right.

Go 1.8 miles to graded cinder road on right which goes to campsites 8 and 9.

Go .9 mile to Huge boulder on left.

Walk/hike 100 yards +- to NEW MOTORIZED TRAIL project.

 

 

WE HAVE THE TROPHY AND INTEND TO KEEP IT !!!

 

 

Make sure that you plan to attend the next USFS Trail Day which will be the

3rd annual “Pedals vs Pistons” event.

 

Lunch/beverages will be provided (Fratelli’s Pizza is the rumor).

Location: FS Road 9002 and the Gas Pipeline Road.
